The Banyan tree originally offered and symbolized relief and comfort. We took this mentality with the name "BANYAN".

The long-standing friends Anh Thu and Vu Xuan Thuy opened the restaurant together in May 2011. Thereupon Mr. Vu took over the complete restaurant in June 2014. After the takeover, we implemented traditional Vietnamese meals into the restaurant and create dishes like "Bánh Xèo" or "Bánh Bao" that are well known in the streets of Vietnam. The menu also contains classics like the "Phở Bò" or "Chả Cá Hà Nội"

The Banyan Restaurant has a total of 80 seats including our" butterfly room". We open our 60 seat big beer garden at warm summer days.

Enjoy traditional Vietnamese cuisine in the heart of Munich.
